GREAT HOUSE FOR A LARGE GROUP!
Our group had a fantastic week at the house! We fit 24 (yes, 24!) people in the house. There is abundant living space; it really is more of a compound than a house. The house overlooks the gorgeous beach, and there was no one around for miles, so it felt like our own private paradise. If you’re looking for a relaxing get-away for a large group, this is your place!

    THE HOUSE WAS AMAZING!
The house was beautiful and Tata took care of everything we needed! The night we arrived one of the a/c units wasn’t working but it was taken care of before we went to bed that evening. We took advantage of the shopping service so everything was ready for us when we arrived. The beach was amazing and we loved the community dog that showed up every day. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the area!

    A GREAT FAMILY GATEWAY!
We had a great time at Villarosa-Hallows beach. There was enough space for our group of 24. Tata, the house manager, was great to work with and very friendly. During our stay we had the pig roast on site which was quite the experience. We were lucky to stay at a time when the giant leatherback sea turtles were nesting and our group enjoyed our eco-experiences learning about these turtles from the local volunteer group Yo Amo El Tinglar. We even saw baby turtle hatchings coming out of their nests. Although the beach has some big waves, we felt save being in it. The best thing about this beach is that it is very quiet and private. Most of the days, our group was the only ones on the beach.

WONDERFUL DREAM STAY FOR MY FAMILY
This villa has everything needed for a family vacation. Our group of 12 consisted of ages from 8-73 years. Our five grandchildren loved the pool area and beach. We had about 1 mile of what felt like private beach. Other than some surfers we had the beach entirely to ourselves. My wife and I got a 2 mile beach run/walk each day.

The children and some of the adults never left the ocean or pool.

The very large covered patio area (about 60 feet) with the view of the volley ball court, the dunes and the ocean was our home for most of our stay.

During our week, there was never a word from them about being bored. The property was very clean and provided us with essentials to make our stay comfortable.

Before arriving, I asked management to shop for use. This was accomplished without a problem. We had requested an arrival meal to be prepared for the group. Zulma was the chef in charge and we were delighted with her skill and knowledge. We used also Zulma for a large catered party and some additional dinners. She was a delight.

The owner of the property was fabulous in getting things coordinated for us. She set up a musician to sing and play local music and it was a big hit. We also ask for a magician to entertain and he was surprisingly safisticted hit. All went very well as planned.

The villa met or needs and management was very available. The property has everything needed. The owner of the property was fabulous in getting things coordinated for us.

Our stay at Villa Rosa Hallows Beach could not have been more perfect! When we arrived (late due to holiday traffic) we found Tata waiting for us with a smile. She helped us get settled and then left us to explore the enormous house. We brought all of our children and grandchildren (26 in all) and there was plenty of room for everyone. During the sixteen days that we stayed at Villa Rosa, we saw very few people on the beach behind the house. It truly felt like our own private beach. Some of our grandchildren are very young, so we often went down the road a short distance to Caracoles Beach – a nice protected bay with small waves. We enjoyed snorkeling at Steps Beach and hiking to the waterfalls at Gozalandia. It was like living in paradise.

Tata and her husband were extremely helpful. We lost hot water in two of the showers and called Tata. She and her husband were there within minutes. They were able to isolate the problem to a broken circuit breaker. It was quickly replaced and we were back in business. The front gate lost power and again, Tata and her husband were there in minutes, working in the rain to get it fixed. They are two of the most pleasant people on God’s green earth.

Our teenage grandsons loved the pool table and our teenage granddaughters loved the balconies and the pool. All of the grandchildren loved the theater room. We moved some tables inside from the large covered patio and we had plenty of room for the family to eat together. The kitchen was very well stocked and perfect for preparing meals. We even used the second kitchen outside when we were grilling hamburgers and hotdogs. The second refrigerator in the basement came in very handy for storing extra food.

My wife and I stayed in the master bedroom on the top floor. It was magical. Every morning we woke to sounds of the ocean and went out to the balcony to see the beautiful beach below. It was also very nice that every room in the house had its own dedicated air conditioner.

Twice while we were there the children were thrilled by Christmas parades down Route 681. Long lines of jeeps were blaring their horns and then Santa drove past throwing bags of candy to the kids.

We asked our kids and grandkids if they would rather go to DisneyWorld for our next family adventure, or return to Villa Rosa. Everyone quickly voted for Villa Rosa. It is our family’s new Happy Place.
